Class 2 driver

Location: North Northamptonshire

Gi Group are looking for an experienced Class 2 Driver our client in Wellingborough.

Location:

Wellingborough - NN8

Class 2 Tipper Driver - Rates of Pay:

· £17.93 including holiday pay (PAYE no umbrellas)

Class 2 Driver - Shifts and

Hours:

· Monday to Friday

· Start Time: 05:00am

· 8 hours guaranteed per shift

· Paid Breaks

Class 2 Driver
- The Role:

This role consists of multi-drop delivery work consisting of food waste collection. The driver is responsible for loading and transporting food waste materials using a rigid vehicle, typically a specialised food waste tipper. Please note - no tipping expereince is necessary as part of this role.

The duties include collecting waste from commercial premises, ensuring safe loading and operation of the vehicle, complying with driving regulations, and disposing of the collected waste at designated sites. This is a temporary position, and training will be provided on the job. The driver will need to be confident in completing vehicle checks and completing any required defects paperwork.

Class 2 requirements

· In date, UK, class 2 licence, with 1 years' experience minimum

· In date CPC and Digi card

· Must be over 22 years of age for insurance purposes.

· Must be flexible and able to remain calm under pressure.

· Must be available to working 45-55 hours per week

· Must have the ability to demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills and an attention to detail is essential.

· Must be happy and able to work with animal by-products
