HGV Class 1 Driver Castle Donington Weekday & Weekend Shifts Available | Immediate Starts | Up to £24.00 Per Hour We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (CE) Drivers on behalf of our client based in Castle Donington (DE74) . This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with one of the UK's leading logistics providers, offering weekday and weekend shifts , competitive rates of pay, and immediate starts.

The Role As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you'll be responsible for the safe and timely delivery and collection of chilled and ambient goods to Regional Distribution Centres (RDCs) and customer locations. The role will involve a mixture of trunking and store deliveries, ensuring all deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Experience with double deck, curtain-side or refrigerated trailers is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. Available Shifts We have a variety of start times available throughout the week, including:
Monday to Friday Various day and night start times available. Friday Start times between 1:00am and 12:00pm . Saturday Afternoon starts available. Sunday Day and night start times available. Regular ongoing work is available for drivers seeking either full-time or weekend-only shifts. Pay Rates Monday to Friday Days: £18.00 per hour Nights: £19.00 per hour Saturday Days: £22.00 per hour Nights: £23.00 per hour Sunday Days: £23.00 per hour Nights: £24.00 per hour Duties Delivering and collecting chilled and ambient goods.

Trunking and RDC/store deliveries. Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks. Completing all delivery paperwork accurately. Working in line with DVSA regulations and Working Time Directive requirements. Delivering a professional and courteous service at every customer site. Requirements To be considered for this role, you must have: A valid HGV Class 1 (CE) Licence. A valid Driver CPC Qualification Card. A valid Digital Tachograph Card.

A minimum of 2 years' HGV Class 1 driving experience . No more than 6 penalty points . No DR, DD or IN endorsements. A reliable, flexible and professional approach to work. Good communication skills and a strong commitment to safety. Direct-to-store delivery experience is beneficial but not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided. Why Join?
