Class 1 Driver

Romax Recruitment are looking for experienced HGV 1 Drivers to join one of the countries leading steel distribution companies in Scunthorpe DN16. This is a great opportunity to gain permanent employment with a rapidly growing company.

Hours:

Monday to Friday - 4am - 7am Starts Overtime is available Minimum 10hrs guaranteed £19.05 P/H (Inc Hol) £23.53 OT (10 daily) Tramping £25 additional Temp to perm Perm bonuses

Roles and responsibilities:

Multidrop work - up to 4-5 drops - Depot to depot/site. Oversee the safe unloading of vehicles at drop off. Securing the load at the start and finish of each drop. Ensuring Proof of Delivery are signed and returned. Vehicle checks at the beginning and end of your shift. Tramping available at an additional rate. Full training on offer. Understanding and experience of EHS requirements.

Requirements: 1 Year experience on HGV 1 Needed No more than 6 penalty points on your licence Valid CPC and Tacho Safety boots This is a great opportunity to join one of the countries leading steel distribution companies.
