HGV Class 2 Driver – Northampton, Northamptonshire People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Northampton, Northamptonshire . This is a fantastic opportunity offering £17.75 per hour , Monday to Friday working, ongoing regular work and genuine long-term career opportunities, including the potential to secure a permanent position. £17.75 Per Hour | Monday to Friday | Ongoing Regular Work | Weekly Pay | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity This role would suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, Delivery Driver or Pallet Network Driver .

• Monday to Friday
• 06:00 start time Rates of Pay • £17.75 per hour

• Employee wellbeing programme Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV Class 2 Driver , your duties will include:
• Completing multi-drop deliveries
• Delivering pallets, cages and packages
• Operating and driving Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently
• Carrying out pre-shift and post-shift vehicle inspections
• Ensuring all loads are secured safely and correctly before transportation
• Adhering to road traffic laws, company procedures and delivery schedules
• Communicating effectively with transport teams and customers
• Reporting vehicle defects and maintenance issues promptly Essential Skills To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver , you will need:
• A valid UK Category C (Class
2) Driving Licence
• A minimum of 12 months' Category C (Class
2) driving experience
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements
• No major endorsement codes
• A valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good spoken and written English
• Excellent timekeeping and reliability
• A good understanding of road traffic laws and driver regulations

Desirable Experience
• Previous commercial driving experience
• Multi-drop delivery experience
• Previous pallet network delivery experience Training Provided
• Industry-related training provided
