Position: HGV Class 1 Driver (Nights)
HGV Class 1 Driver Nights - Crick
People Solutions  are currently recruiting for an  HGV Class 1 Driver Nights  to join our well-established client based in  Crick . This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work throughout the year, and long-term stability within a supportive working environment.
This role may be suitable for candidates with experience as an LGV Class 1 Driver, Category CE Driver or Articulated Lorry Driver.
Rates of Pay:
Days
£17.92 per hour (Basic)
£24.55 per hour (Overtime after 48 hours)
Nights
£19.95 per hour (Basic)
£25.44 per hour (Overtime after 48 hours)
All rates are PAYE with holiday accrued separately.
Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday, start times between 04:00 and 08:00
Sunday to Thursday, start times between 19:00 and 02:00
Ad hoc shifts and full weeks available
Ongoing work all year round

Day-to-Day Duties:
As an  HGV Class 1 Driver Nights , you will work:
Completing depot-to-depot trunking deliveries
Operating Category C+E vehicles safely and efficiently
Carrying out pre-use and post-use vehicle checks
Ensuring loads are secured safely and correctly
Completing all relevant transport paperwork and documentation
Complying with all road transport legislation and company procedures

Skills:

To be successful as an  HGV Class 1 Driver Nights , you will need:
A valid UK Category C+E (Class
1) Driving Licence
A valid Driver CPC Card
A valid Digital Tachograph Card
A minimum of two years' Category C+E driving experience
No more than six penalty points for minor offences
Training:
Driver assessment prior to commencement
Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout the assignment
