HGV Class 1 Driver

HGV Class 1 Driver – Crick, Northamptonshire ONGOING WORK ALL YEAR ROUND – IMMEDIATE STARTS – GREAT RATES OF PAY People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Crick, Northamptonshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and long-term stability within a supportive environment. This role would suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver, LGV Class 1 Driver, Category CE Driver, Articulated Lorry Driver, or Truck Driver.

Shifts:

• Monday to Friday – Start times between 12:00 and 16:00
• Ad hoc shifts initially Rates of Pay:
• Days – £17.92 per hour (Basic)
• Days Overtime – £24.55 per hour (After 48 hours) Benefits:

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include:
• Depot-to-depot trunking deliveries
• Operating Category CE vehicles safely and efficiently
• Carrying out pre-use and post-use vehicle inspections
• Ensuring all loads are secured safely and correctly
• Completing all relevant transport paperwork and documentation
• Complying with all road transport legislation and company procedures Essential

Skills:

To be successful in this role, you will need:
• A valid UK Category CE (Class
1) Driving Licence
• A minimum of 12 months' Category CE (Class
1) driving experience
• A valid Driver CPC Card
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences
• A professional and reliable approach to work Desirable

Experience:

• Previous commercial HGV Class 1 driving experience
• Experience completing depot-to-depot trunking deliveries Training:
• Driver assessment prior to commencement
• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment Apply:
