Warehouse Operative – Grade 2 (Samsung Brown Goods, Panattoni Site Northampton (NN7 4DE
)). The role is based at the Panattoni Site, Northampton (NN7 4DE
) and involves inbound and outbound activities for the Samsung Brown Goods contract. Occasionally, support may be required at the Wellingborough site.

Salary: £29,878.57 per annum with £416 rotating shift allowance.

• 1st July – 15th September: 10:00 – 18:00 Monday – Friday
• 15th September – 15th January 2027: rotating 6:00 – 14:00, 14:00 – 22:00 Monday – Friday
• 15th January 2027 onwards: split shift to merge back into 10:00 – 18:00

• Ensure the efficient operation of the warehouse for inbound and outbound activities.
• Support Team Leaders and cover their responsibilities during absences.
• Manage shift operations and brief staff according to Safe Systems of Work, Standard Operating Procedures, and Work Instructions.
• Safely handle products during inbound and outbound processes, following company procedures to minimise damage and prevent injuries.
• Carry out additional reasonable requests to support warehouse efficiency.
• Collaborate with colleagues to build positive working relationships.
• Follow all Health and Safety protocols, use Personal Protective Equipment, and report concerns to the Line Manager.
• Perform equipment checks and report any defects promptly.
• Provide effective step‑up support in the absence of the Team Leader(s).

• Team player with a flexible, proactive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and take on varied tasks.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• Current or previous MHE licences – desirable (FLT/Reach).
• Previous experience in or leading a team in a fast‑moving operation, and/or new operation set‑up, highly advantageous.
• Awareness of manual handling techniques is an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable with independently lifting items up to 12.5kg.
• Proven experience of step‑up responsibilities such as holding shift briefings, health & safety initiatives, absence management, daily task allocation, reporting, holiday approval.
