Pertemps are excited to be recruiting for experienced Warehouse Operatives on behalf of our client, a leading logistics business operating from a brand-new, state-of-the-art distribution centre in Northamptonshire, conveniently located just off Junction 15 of the M1.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a newly established night shift team from the very beginning, helping to shape the success of a modern warehouse operation while securing a temp-to-perm position with genuine long-term prospects.

Key Responsibilities
Picking customer orders using handheld RF scanners

Loading and unloading vehicles

Stock replenishment and inventory movement

Goods-in and goods-out processes

Operating warehouse equipment safely and efficiently

Maintaining high standards of accuracy and productivity

Supporting the smooth running of warehouse operations

Skills & Experience Required We are looking for candidates with previous experience in:

Warehouse operations

Order picking using scanners

Loading and unloading trailers

Working in fast-paced distribution environments

Meeting productivity and accuracy targets

Desirable MHE Experience Experience operating any of the following equipment would be highly advantageous:

Counterbalance FLT

Reach Truck

PPT (Powered Pallet Truck)

LLOP (Low Level Order Picker)

(Current licences are beneficial but not essential, depending on experience.)

Shift Pattern Night Shift

Sunday to Thursday

22:00 – 06:00

Important Training Requirement Before moving onto the night shift, all successful applicants must be available to complete one week of training on day shifts. This is a mandatory requirement to ensure you receive the necessary induction and operational training before joining the night team.
