Warehouse Operations Controller; Nights

Here at GXO, we're looking for a Warehouse Operations Controller to join us at our Carlsberg site in Swan Valley,
Northampton
.

You'll provide leadership and guidance for your team of warehouse colleagues to enable them to meet objectives, encouraging open communication and addressing operational issues effectively.

This is a full time, permanent position, where you'll be working the night shift on a 4 on, 4 off, basis, 18:00 - 06:00.

We're looking to offer a salary of up to £40,297.97 plus £1,800.00, night shift allowance
, per annum and 26 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). • Ensure that day-to-day operational changes are incorporated into the department standards
• Continuously strive to improve the operational effectiveness of the site, to ensure high quality of service to customers
• Ensure all colleagues comply with company procedures and are aware of their own responsibilities to others
• Monitoring key performance indicators for the area
• Always ensure effective and efficient use of the warehouse management system (SAP) by the warehouse administration team

• Experience leading a team of warehouse colleagues within a large, fast-paced warehouse environment
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop teams to ensure excellent performance
• The ability to work to the highest levels of safety, service, accuracy and quality. IOSH Manging safely would be desirable.
• An understanding of key operational cost drivers and cost centre management
