We're expanding our day shift operation following a major contract win, creating fantastic opportunities for experienced Shunter who are looking for stable, consistent work without weekend commitments.

, operating from our Raunds site and playing a key role in the smooth flow of one of the UK's most trusted household appliance brands.
As a Day Shift Shunter, you'll be employed on a full time, permanent basis, working Monday to Friday
, with shifts running 05:00-14:00
. You'll have 45 hours per week guaranteed
, giving you both security and a great work life balance.
- An annual salary of £38,282 (£16.36 per hour)

- Move trailers safely around the yard using a tug unit, ensuring they are positioned correctly for loading and unloading
- Work closely with Transport Managers, Yard Marshals, and Warehouse Supervisors to coordinate trailer movements and keep the workflow on track
- Maintain a safe working environment by following all site Health & Safety procedures and reporting any hazards immediately
- Assist with general yard organisation
, keeping the area tidy and ensuring trailers are logged, positioned, and tracked correctly
- A valid Class 1 driving licence
, CPC, and Digi Tacho card - A clean driving record with no more than 6 penalty points (excluding DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements)
- Previous shunting experience - desirable but not essential for the right candidate
- A strong awareness of site Health & Safety standards and the safe movement of vehicles in a busy yard environment
- The flexibility and resilience to work outdoors in all weather conditions
