Counterbalance Driver

The Role
As a Counterbalance Driver
, you will play a key role in ensuring goods are received, stored and dispatched efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy.
- Loading and unloading pallets from vehicles
- Off‑loading incoming goods into the warehouse
- Reviewing goods-in paperwork and checking collections
- Comparing notes and locations to ensure the correct items are selected for dispatch
- Unloading goods into storage locations
- Allocating pallets into warehouse racking safely and accurately
- Completing warehouse and stock location documentation
- Wrapping pallets ready for storage and distribution
- Maintaining safe working practices and excellent housekeeping standards
- Valid UK/EU Forklift Truck Licence (Counterbalance)
- Previous experience operating a Forklift Truck within a warehouse environment
- Confident loading and unloading a variety of vehicle types
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Experience using scanning equipment
- Good IT literacy skills
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team
