FLT/MHE Drivers Required  Northampton, NN7  Quest Employment are currently recruiting for  experienced FLT/MHE Drivers  to join a busy warehouse operation based at  Panattoni Park, Northampton (NN7) .
This is an excellent opportunity for reliable candidates with  FLT/MHE experience  who are looking for consistent Monday Friday work, weekly pay and the potential to secure a permanent position.
The role will involve operating FLT/MHE equipment alongside general warehouse duties, including  PI (Perpetual Inventory) and stock-count activities . Accuracy and attention to detail are therefore essential.

Please note:

Due to the location of the site and limited public transport options,  you must be able to drive to be considered for this role.

The Role  As an FLT/MHE Driver, your duties may include:
Safely and efficiently operating FLT/MHE equipment.
Operating different types of MHE where trained and authorised.
Loading and unloading trailers accurately and safely.
Moving stock around the warehouse and placing goods into the correct locations.
Carrying out  PI and regular stock counts , ensuring stock quantities and locations are accurate.
Investigating and reporting stock discrepancies where required.
Using warehouse systems, scanners and documentation to maintain accurate stock records.
Completing and checking basic warehouse paperwork and documentation.
Carrying out pre-use equipment checks before operating machinery.
Reporting any issues relating to stock, racking, equipment or safety.
Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working environment.
Supporting general warehouse duties when required.
Following all site health and safety procedures at all times.
Supporting different areas of the warehouse and completing additional training where required.

What Were Looking For  The successful candidate will:
Hold a valid  FLT/MHE licence .
Have previous FLT/MHE experience within a warehouse environment.
Have previous warehouse experience.
Be confident operating MHE equipment in a busy warehouse.
Have experience or a strong understanding of  stock counting and inventory accuracy .
Have excellent attention to detail when handling stock and completing counts.
Be reliable, punctual and safety-focused.
Be able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
Be flexible and willing to support other warehouse areas when required.
Be able to drive due to the location of the site.
Licence Requirements   Valid  FLT/MHE licence  required.
In-house licences are accepted, provided they are valid and in date.
Accredited licences such as  RTITB, ITSSAR or AITT  are preferred.
Experience operating multiple types of MHE would be advantageous.
PI / Stock Count Requirements  The successful candidate will be required to support  Perpetual Inventory (PI) and stock-count processes .
This will involve:
Completing regular stock counts accurately.
Checking physical stock against warehouse system records.
Identifying and reporting stock discrepancies.
Ensuring stock is stored in the correct locations.
Maintaining a high level of accuracy when recording stock movements.
Supporting wider inventory-control activities as required.
Previous experience with  PI, stock control, inventory checks or warehouse stock systems  would be beneficial, although full training may be provided for the right candidate.
