People Solutions are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join our well-established clients based across Northampton
, including Grange Park and Swan Valley
.

We have a range of warehouse and production-based opportunities available, including picking and packing, goods handling, dispatch, manufacturing support and general warehouse duties.
This position would suit applicants who have previously worked as a Warehouse Operative, Picker Packer, Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Parcel Sorter, Despatch Operative or General Operative.
Shifts- Full-time positions available
- Morning shifts: 6:00am–2:00pm
- Afternoon shifts: 2:00pm–10:00pm
- Five out of seven days or Monday-to-Friday rotating shifts, depending on the assignment
- Some positions require rotating between morning and afternoon shifts
- Shift availability and working patterns depend on the vacancy
- £14.00–£14.38 per hour – Basic rate, depending on assignment
- £21.00–£21.57 per hour – Overtime rate, depending on assignment
- Enhanced overtime rates apply when qualifying conditions are met

- Picking and packing customer orders
- Sorting parcels and preparing goods for dispatch
- Loading, unloading and moving stock around the warehouse
- Supporting manufacturing and production processes
- Moving materials and feeding production lines
- Using hand tools and equipment where required
- Carrying out basic assembly and preparation tasks
- Completing stock checks and basic documentation
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Following all site health and safety procedures
- Reliable approach to work with good timekeeping
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good attention to detail
- Comfortable undertaking manual handling duties
- Ability to work full-time shifts
- Able to commute to Northampton, including Grange Park or Swan Valley
- Previous warehouse, production or manufacturing experience
- Experience in picking, packing, dispatch or stock handling
- Experience using hand tools or working within a manufacturing environment
- Full site-specific training provided
- Health and safety guidance
- Ongoing support and development throughout your assignment
