Position Overview
Senior Accountant – Assurance team, North Bay office.
Responsibilities- Effectively perform assurance engagements for private, public and NPO organizations to ensure relevant professional standards and firm policies are followed
- Effectively plan and execute assurance engagements
- Address client issues in a timely manner, following BDO policy and using strong technical skills and accounting experience
- Apply appropriate industry/business knowledge to anticipate, identify and address issues relevant to the client’s business
- Completed or actively working toward CPA designation
- At least 3 years of audit experience in the public accounting industry
- Enjoys working across a variety of client industries and keen to develop further knowledge
- Values teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work
- Demonstrates strong problem‑solving, analytical and communication skills
$62,000 to $96,000
