Optimum Hybrid Accounts Receivable Clerk

Become an Accounts Receivable Clerk at Optimum Insurance in North Bay, Ontario. This bilingual role focuses on payment processing and maintaining client relations in a hybrid environment.

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in processing payments and handling various account activities. The position requires you to support brokers and insureds while ensuring data integrity and organizational efficiency. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential, as is the ability to contribute positively within a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply payments to PAC and Direct Bill policies

• Process banking changes and withdrawal date adjustments

• Maintain accurate records and support special projects

• Prepare lapse notices and other correspondence as necessary

• Provide exceptional service to internal and external clients

Requirements:

• Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written

• Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent experience

• Experience in accounting or administrative roles preferred

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
