Accounts Receivable Clerk - Bilingual

Position: Accounts Receivable Clerk - Bilingual Role
Optimum Insurance Company seeks a Bilingual Accounts Receivable Clerk in North Bay, Ontario, with a hybrid work model that supports flexibility and in-person collaboration. This role is crucial for managing payments and ensuring smooth operations for brokers.

As you report to the Accounting Manager, you will play a significant part in processing payments, responding to inquiries, and maintaining data integrity. Your bilingual abilities will enhance communication with various stakeholders across Canada, making this position a valued contributor in the finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process payment transactions and bank deposits

• Handle payment applications for Direct Bill policies

• Manage NSF payments and execute follow-ups

• Create registered letters and lapse notices

• Support account reconciliation and collections efforts

Requirements:

• Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken

• Relevant post-secondary education in Accounting or Business

• Previous relevant experience in accounts receivable or administration

• Excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
