Join Construction Demathieu Bard as an Experienced Heavy Equipment Operator in Ontario. This essential role focuses on safely operating various machinery for major infrastructure projects.
Reporting to the site Superintendent or Project Manager, you will utilize your heavy equipment operation skills to support the rehabilitation of civil transportation infrastructure. This position requires your flexibility to mobilize across Ontario and work on significant projects like canals and culverts. A standard 10-hour workweek is expected, with occasional weekends and overtime as projects demand.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate bulldozers, dump trucks, and excavators
• Ensure regular maintenance and safety checks on equipment
• Contribute to earthworks project leadership
• Follow safety protocols and perform tasks reliably
• Execute additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of relevant heavy equipment experience
• Valid Ontario DZ Driver's Licence or equivalent
• Certification in heavy equipment training preferred
• First aid with CPR certification mandatory
