In this role, you will collaborate with the Estimating Department to analyze project documentation, ensuring comprehensive cost estimations and proposals. You are expected to gather insights from various stakeholders, modify schedules, and engage with vendors to strengthen bids. This position serves a critical function in estimating for underground mining projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare schedules, estimates, and proposal documents

• Analyze designs to calculate labor and material needs

• Engage with vendors and subcontractors for quotations

• Use estimating software for resource allocation

• Support project management for continuity in deliverables

Requirements:

• Educational background in mathematics or science required

• 1-2 years’ experience in underground mining contexts

• Preferred:
Degree in Mining Engineering or relevant diploma

• Proficient in spreadsheet and presentation software

• Strong attention to detail in estimating tasks
