As a key figure in Stantec, you will take charge of crafting detailed estimates and schedules for commercial and industrial buildings while collaborating with an experienced estimating team. Your strong background in building and facility estimating will enhance the team's efficiency and project delivery. Engage in innovative problem-solving and contribute meaningful insights to project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop comprehensive cost estimates and schedules
• Validate takeoffs from drawings and plans
• Support procurement and vendor pricing evaluations
• Prepare constructability reviews for engineering designs
• Identify and assess project risks and opportunities
Requirements:
• At least 10 years in cost estimating
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Expertise in architectural and structural scopes preferred
• Experience with major construction software
• Willingness to travel for project needs
