Secondary School Secretary - Permanent

Location: Englehart High School

Start date: February 2, 2026

Vacancy Details: 1.0 FTE (full-time, 35 hours/week) – This posting is for an existing vacancy.

Education / Experience
  • Post‑secondary diploma in Office Administration or a related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with board‑specific software (e.g., Aspen, Spark Rock) is considered an asset
Skill and Ability
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage workload efficiently and effectively
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities, with excellent attention to detail
  • Committed to maintaining confidentiality at all levels within the organization
  • Ability to establish and meet deadlines

Compensation: Salary as per the current COPE collective agreement – $24.89 – $37.62 per hour
