Position: 0.25 Permanent White Woods Public School
Location: West Nipissing

The NNDSB invites applications for the following permanent position commencing  school year.

In accordance with L 31.02.02.g   , applications will be considered in the following order:

i) Surplus teachers (in conjunction with L 31.02.02.f)

ii) All teachers including part-time teachers may now increase their time

iii) Teachers on notice of possible lay-off

Required teaching qualifications

A valid Ontario College of Teachers Certificate

A valid Certification of Registration from the Ontario College of Teachers

Primary and Junior Qualifications

Position Criteria

Knowledge of Ministry Curriculum and Assessment documents

Demonstrated experience with Apple based software and Mobile devices (iPad/Mac Book/iMac)

Evidence of understanding of varied learners with a focus on ‘at‑risk’ students

Evidence of supporting Literacy and Numeracy from a whole school perspective

Evidence of integration of technology for the documentation and evaluation of student work

Ability to work as part of a school team and to communicate effectively

Demonstrated ability to utilize EDSBY to support student learning and guardian communication
