Grade 11 & 12 Workplace English – ENG3E/4E

Grade 12 Ontario Secondary School Literacy Course – OLC4O

Grade 12 University Canadian and International Law, E‑Learning – CLN4U

Effective September 2, 2026

• Basic qualifications to teach in the Intermediate and Senior Division – English and Law

• Sound knowledge of the programs and teaching experience in the listed divisions and subject areas.
• Honours degree and/or subject qualification in English and Law would be considered an asset.
• Special Education Part I would be considered an asset.
• Ability to implement a shared vision consistent with the principles of Catholic education and integrating the Catholic Graduate Expectations within the curriculum.
• Knowledge and experience in utilizing student learning management systems such as Google Classroom and D2L Brightspace, as well as additional G‑Suite digital tools, EDSBY and CVO courses on the VLE to facilitate instruction and effective communication with parents.
• Demonstrated knowledge of how students learn effectively with a repertoire of proven instructional and assessment practices.
• Commitment to supporting the use of technology in instruction and learning, and to promoting an environment of innovation and creativity that engages the 21st century learner.
• Commitment to ongoing professional learning and collaboration around the school's Student Achievement Plan through school‑based PLC's, department meetings, co‑planning and co‑teaching.
• Knowledge, experience and proven ability in utilizing differentiated instructional approaches within the classroom that support well‑being, equity and inclusion.
• Proven ability to implement effective classroom management strategies.
• Flexibility to be assigned in other subject areas as the need arises.
• Willingness to actively assume extra‑curricular duties.
• Knowledge of, and familiarity with, the school community.

Current compensation, in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.
