This full-time faculty position is pivotal for shaping the new Community Planning Program. Reporting to the Dean of Arts and Science, you will lead curriculum development, support accreditation efforts, and work with diverse stakeholders. Ideal candidates will hold a PhD in Planning or a related field with strong teaching, scholarship, and service records.
Key Responsibilities:
• Shape the vision and trajectory of the Community Planning Program
• Lead collaborative curriculum development and accreditation
• Champion excellence in teaching and research initiatives
• Engage with Indigenous communities and regional partners
• Foster experiential learning opportunities for students
Requirements:
• PhD in Planning or a closely related discipline
• Registered Professional Planner or eligibility for registration
• Proven academic leadership and commitment to decolonizing planning
• Experience in teaching and community engagement
• Availability for full-time work in North Bay
