Math Tutor High School Students

Position: Math Tutor for High School Students
Support young learners as a Math Tutor for high school students. Focus on providing expert guidance in math subjects during engaging after-school tutoring sessions.

As a part-time math tutor, you'll engage with students in grades 9-12, utilizing pre-planned lessons and targeted methodologies to enhance their skills. Strong communication and multitasking capabilities are essential as you will work with multiple students simultaneously in this in-person role, committed to evening availability and some Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tutor high school students in various math topics

• Use established teaching methods for effective learning

• Keep thorough records of student progress

• Engage in ongoing communication with students/families

• Create a welcoming and encouraging environment

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or similar in an education-related field

• Previous experience in math tutoring preferred

• Comprehensive knowledge of high school math curriculum

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Flexibility for evening and Saturday tutoring hours
