The board invites applications for a long-term occasional teaching role effective September 2, 2026, through June 30, 2027. The candidate will teach 0.8 FTE at Mother St. Bride and 0.2 FTE resa. A sound knowledge of Ontario Curriculum and effective assessment strategies are strongly preferred for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach Primary and Junior Divisions at assigned schools
• Communicate effectively in a team environment
• Implement classroom management strategies clearly
• Support comprehensive literacy and numeracy education
• Participate in school professional learning teams actively
Requirements:
• Basic qualifications in Primary and Junior teaching
• Proven experience with instructional strategies
• Familiarity with G-Suite, Google Classroom, and EDSBY
• Willingness to engage in extra-curricular duties
• Criminal record check as a condition of employment
