Join Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic as a Special Education Teacher in the Learning Assistance Classroom at Our Lady of Sorrows. This long-term occasional role is dedicated to fostering inclusivity and supporting diverse learners.

The position commences on September 2, 2026, and ends on June 30, 2027. You'll employ current instructional strategies and develop comprehensive Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to cater to students' specific learning needs. Collaborating with colleagues to enhance educational outcomes will be a key focus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and monitor Individual Education Plans (IEPs)

• Implement differentiated instruction strategies in the classroom

• Engage with digital tools like Google Classroom for effective instruction

• Maintain a positive classroom management approach

• Contribute to the school's professional learning team

Requirements:

• Valid qualifications to teach in the Primary Division

• Certification in Special Education Part I

• Teaching experience in special education settings

• Strong understanding of literacy and numeracy instruction

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
