Teach Grade 4/5 English at St Theresa using structured literacy and effective assessment strategies. This 1.0 FTE LTO begins immediately.
The Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic District School Board seeks a Long Term Occasional Teacher for the Junior Division. The assignment continues for an indefinite period, not beyond June 30, 2027. The successful teacher will support literacy, numeracy, classroom management, and differentiated instruction.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach Grade 4/5 English within the Junior Division
Implement structured literacy and numeracy instruction
Use student data to drive instruction
Apply effective classroom management strategies
Integrate technology and Indigenous perspectives into instruction
Requirements:
Basic qualifications to teach in the Junior Division
Sound knowledge of listed division programs
Current instructional and assessment strategies repertoire
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Knowledge of Google Classroom, G-Suite, and EDSBY
Bring Junior Division qualifications, differentiated instruction, and communication skills to Grade 4/5 English teaching at St Theresa.
