Position: Intermediate Designer for Mining Electrical Systems
Join Cementation as an Intermediate Designer, focusing on Electrical Systems in North Bay, ON. Contribute to designing reliable and safe automation solutions for mining infrastructure.

In this role, you will work alongside the Design Project Leader and Engineer of Record to craft engineering designs that optimize underground and surface mining operations. Your expertise in electrical design will allow you to develop comprehensive system packages tailored to project requirements while ensuring safety and operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft designs for temporary and permanent mining infrastructure

• Collaborate cross-functionally for project alignment

• Deliver accurate design packages within budget and scope

• Produce technical documents like network diagrams and wiring drawings

• Guarantee designs comply with safety and reliability standards

Requirements:

• High School Diploma and relevant post-secondary qualification

• At least 5 years of electrical drafting and design experience

• Background in mining, construction, or fabrication

• Expertise in AutoCAD and related software tools

• Must reside in Canada with authorization to work
