WSP seeks a Lead Mechanical HVAC Engineer in Northern Ontario to shape sustainable mining infrastructure through innovative engineering solutions and effective leadership.
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will oversee HVAC design, mentor emerging engineers, and work collaboratively to solve complex challenges.
Your role is vital in ensuring high-performing mechanical systems while maintaining a commitment to safety and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage HVAC design packages from development to completion
• Create reliable specifications for mechanical systems
• Foster collaboration between multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Ensure designs meet industry standards and requirements
• Provide technical mentorship to intermediate engineers
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 15+ years of experience in mining or heavy industry
• Familiarity with flue gas and ventilation systems
• P.Eng. certification in progress or obtained
• Experience with design and modeling software
