Senior Electrical Engineering Designer - Mining

Become an essential part of the EXP mining team as a Senior Electrical Designer, located in St. Johns, NL;
Brampton, Sudbury; or North Bay, ON. This role emphasizes precision in electrical designs and project management in the mining sector.
As a Senior Electrical Designer with a minimum of 10 years of experience, you will focus on creating comprehensive electrical layouts and documentation.

Your role includes drafting essential electrical drawings, supporting lead engineers, and ensuring projects adhere to safety and quality standards. The position allows you to thrive in a collaborative environment while managing multiple mining projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and draft electrical layouts and schematics

• Assist in developing control systems and lighting plans

• Utilize AutoCAD, Micro Station, and REVIT for drafting

• Plot and issue project documentation effectively

• Support compliance with safety regulations
Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years in an EPCM environment

• Required experience in instrumentation design

• Technical degree with mining exposure

• Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office tools

• In-depth knowledge of engineering codes
