Position: Senior Mining Engineer Role
Join EXP as a Senior Mining Engineer (Independent Contractor) based in St. Johns, NL;
Brampton, Sudbury; or North Bay, ON, to influence mining engineering projects directly. Drive innovation in mining planning and operations.
As part of the EXP team, your work will encompass significant mining engineering projects requiring technical excellence and strategic business development. You will be involved in site investigations, project management, and preparing critical documentation and reports to facilitate project success. This position offers a chance to contribute to both surface and underground operations while ensuring safety and compliance across all projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess mining locations for extraction feasibility

• Deliver mining engineering studies and reports

• Cultivate business opportunities within the US mining sector

• Collaborate with engineering teams on project deliverables

• Draft technical specifications and memos for projects
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining or Geological Engineering

• Minimum of 15 years in project engineering

• Proficient with mining design software and tools

• Strong understanding of mining operations

• Excellent organizational and communication skills
