In this role, you will leverage your engineering background and at least four years of experience in transportation design. You will oversee the preparation of drawings and specifications for major road projects while managing project quality, announcements, and timelines. Mentoring junior staff will be a key part of your contributions to the team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the design process for provincial and municipal road projects
• Review and prepare engineering contract documents
• Coordinate and facilitate community consultations
• Manage project budgets and schedules efficiently
• Provide technical mentoring and guidance to junior engineers
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 4 years in the field
• Valid P.Eng. designation in Ontario
• Knowledge of TAC and MTO design standards
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil3D, and related design tools
• Strong English proficiency in communication and proposals
