Geotechnical Engineer - Mine Waste Management

You will engage in geotechnical site investigations and assist in ensuring quality during dam construction. Your analytical skills will be crucial for conducting seepage and stability assessments, which directly influence mine waste facilities. Collaborating with a diverse team of professionals will enhance the effectiveness of projects while contributing to environmental safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct site investigations and quality assurance for dams
• Analyze geotechnical data for engineering decisions
• Develop and implement waste management plans
• Monitor tailings and waste rock system performance
• Contribute to documentation and reports
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Geotechnical, or Mining Engineering
• 0–3 years of work in geotechnical or waste management
• Familiarity with geotechnical software such as Geo Studio
• Valid driver’s license for fieldwork
• P.Eng. eligibility in Ontario is preferred
