Position: Lead Electrical Engineer for Mining Solutions
Drive electrical engineering solutions at Redpath as a Senior Electrical Engineer focused on mining systems. This role demands interaction with engineers and field teams to ensure compliance and safety in projects.
As a senior member of Redpath's team, you will be responsible for the electrical engineering aspects of diverse mining projects.

Your role includes the review and approval of crucial electrical drawings, conducting detailed power system studies, and maintaining the highest standards of electrical compliance across installations. Engagements with clients and supervision of Electrical Engineers-in-Training will enhance the overall project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Check and approve electrical drawings and specifications

• Specify, integrate, and commission critical electrical systems

• Perform audits and compliance checks of installations

• Mentor junior engineers and designers in project tasks

• Travel to sites for inspections and technical discussions
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and P.Eng. certification

• At least 10 years’ experience in engineering, mining preferred

• Strong command of ETAP and other design software

• Familiar with PLC systems, industrial networking, and communications

• Commitment to safety and project standards
