WSP’s Resources subsector is looking for an Experienced Electrical Engineer based in Ontario, ideally in Northern Ontario or the Greater Toronto Area. You will lead the design of electrical systems for mining operations, utilizing over 18 years of expertise and facilitating project studies. Build relationships with clients and oversee the success of junior engineers' development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design electrical distribution systems for industrial projects
• Lead power system studies using industry-standard tools
• Develop specifications for critical electrical infrastructure
• Ensure safety and compliance in design processes
• Mentor and manage engineering teams across projects
Requirements:
• 18+ years of experience in heavy industrial electrical design
• Professional Engineer license in Ontario required
• Proficiency in standards such as CSA and IEEE
• Familiarity with control systems and automation
• Valid driver's license for industrial site evaluations
