Stantec is seeking an Instrumentation & Controls/Industrial Automation Engineer for our consulting team. This engineering position offers a pathway to develop your skills in automation and control system design while working on multidisciplinary projects. You will support diverse sectors, including mining, renewable energy, and power generation, and have opportunities to lead project design and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide engineering support for diverse projects from design to start-up

• Lead development of construction drawing deliverables

• Specify instrumentation and assist in procurement evaluations

• Design PLC/DCS/HMI/SCADA systems and architecture

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure success

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5-10 years of experience

• Strong communication skills and engineering design ability

• Familiarity with mining, oil & gas sectors is an asset

• Willingness to travel for site work

• Professional Engineering license or eligibility to obtain
