As a Senior Estimator at Stantec, you will be responsible for coordinating multi-discipline cost estimates and construction schedules. Your experience in hydroelectric generation and power systems will be paramount in this position that covers diverse infrastructure projects. Collaborate closely with estimators, schedulers, and engineers to deliver top-quality estimates across all phases of project development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise multi-discipline cost estimates and schedules

• Develop estimates for generators, substations, and SCADA systems

• Validate material takeoffs and construction quantities

• Prepare estimate execution plans and labor-force work plans

• Coordinate site-specific estimating criteria and quality control

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related field

• Minimum of 10 years in estimating and construction roles

• Expertise in hydroelectric and electrical balance-of-plant projects

• Proficiency with estimating software and scheduling tools

• Strong client-facing skills for effective stakeholder communication
