Stantec is hiring a Mining Structural Engineer to join our Energy and Resources team. In this role, you will apply your engineering expertise to a variety of global mining projects, focusing on design and analysis of robust industrial structures. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you'll also play a crucial role in mentoring junior staff and growing your engineering knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead structural design and analysis of mining projects

• Interact with cross-disciplinary teams for project success

• Prepare and coordinate project documentation and specifications

• Conduct quality assurance and ensure compliance with codes

• Assist in the professional development of EITs and junior engineers

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Master's preferred

• 12-15 years in structural engineering focusing on industrial sectors

• Registered P. Eng. with knowledge of mining infrastructure

• Familiarity with structural analysis tools, including Math Cad

• Willingness to travel for project site visits
