This temporary, 12-month role in the Transportation Infrastructure Management Division involves critical analysis of traffic engineering practices. You will offer guidance on infrastructure design, evaluate engineering studies, and present findings to a diverse array of stakeholders.
Your role is integral to improving public safety and operational efficiency on the region's roadways.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze and review traffic engineering studies thoroughly
• Provide expert advice on transportation infrastructure
• Draft comprehensive engineering reports and presentations
• Propose improvements for traffic management
• Collaborate with senior management on design decisions
Requirements:
• Licensed Professional Engineer or obtaining PEO license
• Valid Class G driver’s license required
• Exceptional analytical skills for traffic data
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of highway design and legislation
