Position Overview
The Strategic Alliances Manager will create, execute, and manage technology partnerships in key areas of Entrust’s digital security portfolio including hardware security modules (HSMs), key/certificate/secrets management, and public key infrastructure (PKI). The role works closely with strategy and product management teams to determine target opportunities for new or expanded technology partnerships that, together with Entrust, form "better together" solutions. A core skill is understanding the cybersecurity landscape and vendor dynamics within major market segments, and assessing technology partners’ compatibility for integration with Entrust solutions.
The manager will partner with new and existing technology partners and internal marketing and sales teams to develop joint go‑to‑market strategies and drive business growth.
- Understand the market and technology/application landscape that Entrust operates in, with strong background in cyber security, encryption (including post‑quantum cryptography), public key infrastructure, and key/certificate/secrets management.
- Identify and evaluate new and existing technology partners that benefit from Entrust offerings; develop business cases and execute integration and go‑to‑market strategies.
- Develop and maintain go‑to‑market relationships with technology partners to increase sales of combined solutions, collaborating with channel, marketing, sales engineering, and other Entrust departments.
- Lead the recruitment and onboarding of new technology partners into the Entrust Ready program, negotiating agreements in cooperation with the legal team.
- Advocate for partners internally, promoting relationships, integrations, capabilities, and activities to secure support and collaboration from relevant Entrust entities.
- Represent the company at trade shows and partner or customer events as required.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years of technology alliances experience, including partnership development and co‑selling relationships
- 5+ years of experience in cyber security technology, understanding of cyber security ecosystems, and ability to sell and present to technical and business buyers
- Deep knowledge of hardware security modules (HSMs), key/certificate/secrets management, and public key infrastructure (PKI)
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%
- Must be able to lawfully work within the USA
- MBA a plus
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
- Team player with outstanding interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with multiple disciplines both at technology partners and within Entrust

The pay range for this position is $106,000 – $155,500 per year, with eligibility for the company's discretionary annual incentive plan. Compensation is determined based on education, skills, and experience. Eligible employees and dependents receive comprehensive benefits, vacation, paid time off, and paid holidays.
