Position: Nipissing-Parry Sound Utility Worker Role
Join the Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic District School Board as a Utility Worker, providing essential maintenance services. Your work will support St. Joseph-Scollard Hall during a crucial temporary period.

In this part-time position, you'll work 20 hours per week from Monday to Friday, focusing on repairs and minor adjustments to essential systems like heating and plumbing. Your range of skills in various trades will contribute significantly to ensuring the ongoing functionality of facilities across the school. You may also assist with additional duties such as snow removal and maintaining the school's grounds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct minor repairs on heating and cooling systems

• Support with maintenance tasks around the school grounds

• Interpret and work from structural drawings

• Maintain tools such as lawnmowers and snow blowers

• Complete tasks efficiently and safely

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience or trade education

• Good problem-solving and communication abilities

• Capacity to perform physically demanding tasks

• Valid driver’s license for occasional vehicle use

• Basic computer skills including email and databases
