About the Role As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will support our skilled maintenance team with a wide range of work across the hospital, including:
Preventive maintenance and repairs to hospital infrastructure and equipment
Responding to maintenance issues in a timely, safe, and professional manner
Working in compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
Your work helps ensure a safe, functional environment for patients, staff, volunteers, and visitors.
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
Completion of a 2-year College Program or recognized Trade School in electricity, plumbing, mechanical systems, or a related field
Valid driver’s license and personal automobile insurance
Skills & Competencies
Related maintenance experience is considered an asset
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proven ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and multitask effectively
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Basic computer proficiency is an asset
Personal Suitability
Positive work record with reliable attendance
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role
Demonstrated commitment to health and safety
Up‑to‑date immunizations required
