Advanced Care Registered Nurse
Overview
We are currently looking for someone to join our dynamic Leadership Team in the role of Nurse Manager. The primary role is to provide effective coordination and supervision of the delivery of Community Nursing Health Services. This Full‑Time position is based in our North Bay office with Monday‑Friday hours and participation in a Branch Manager On‑Call rotation that may include evenings and weekends.

- Coordinate, supervise, and coach Nurses in the field.
- Develop and maintain an effective Care Plan for Community Health Services, independently or in cooperation with Ontario Health atHome.
- Keep abreast of policies outlined in the Regulated Health Professions Act and best practices for monitoring employee performance.
- Promote and market Community Health Services and maintain positive public relations.
- Provide active guidance for workplace Health and Safety.
- Registered Nurse (RN) degree.
- Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
- Proven computer skills, including email, word processing, and work scheduling systems.
- Thorough knowledge of case management skills and nursing processes.
- Vehicle ownership and willingness to travel regularly.
- Leadership and people‑management skills (asset).
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
- French language skills (asset).
In addition to providing home‑based health care, Care Partners serves the community through clinics, transitional care units, and relief in retirement homes and shared care settings. Through our Community Nursing Services outreach program, we have organized staff‑led medical care and clinics in countries with poor access to health care since 2009.
