West Nipissing General Hospital is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse for its Emergency Department. This part-time and permanent opportunity allows you to provide compassionate, patient-centred care in a supportive community setting.
As an RPN in our Emergency Department, you'll engage in delivering high-quality healthcare while collaborating with a skilled team. This role is well-suited for early-career nurses wanting to enhance their clinical expertise or experienced RPNs seeking a stable work environment. Your impactful role will foster meaningful patient relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide holistic nursing care that ensures comfort and dignity
• Administer medications safely following hospital protocols
• Monitor and document patient status and vital signs
• Work with a team for optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on health management
Requirements:
• Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Completion of a recognized practical nursing program
• Current BCLS certification
• Strong judgment and patient-focused care commitment
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
