Make a meaningful impact in geriatric healthcare at North Bay Regional Health Centre as a Clinical Nurse Educator. You will design educational programs to empower staff and optimize patient care for older adults.
In this role, you will contribute to specialized outpatient geriatric services, delivering vital training and leading patient education initiatives. Your expertise is crucial for integrating best practices and ensuring high standards of mental health care throughout the program. Engage actively in mentorship and interdisciplinary outreach.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop educational programs aimed at staff skill enhancement
• Facilitate impactful patient education strategies
• Monitor knowledge transfer and propose improvements
• Participate in interdisciplinary outreach and assessments
• Mentor staff and provide leadership support
Requirements:
• College of Nurses of Ontario registration
• Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse certification
• Experience in specialized geriatric nursing
• Bilingual in English and French
• Demonstrated leadership and analytical abilities
Contribute to the advancement of geriatric care education at North Bay Regional Health Centre.
