As a Nurse Practitioner at NBRHC, you will collaborate with a dynamic inter-professional team to ensure high-quality care for patients in the Emergency Department and peripheral clinics. You will leverage your advanced clinical skills to manage both acute and chronic health issues, ensuring continuity of care post-discharge and offering trauma-informed support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver autonomous healthcare and patient assessments
• Prescribe treatments and manage follow-ups
• Document clinical findings clearly in patient records
• Collaborate with peers to enhance patient outcomes
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives within the team
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Nursing and current RNEC certification
• At least three years as a Nurse Practitioner in Emergency Medicine
• Five years in an acute care nursing setting
• Knowledge of cardiology, prenatal care, and chronic illness
• Bilingual in English and French is required
