Position: North Bay Registered Practical Nurse Role

In this essential role in the Inpatient Surgery department, you'll manage post-operative care and contribute to high-quality patient outcomes through critical skills like IV therapy and PCA pump management. Your ability to educate patients will enhance care delivery while you work alongside diverse healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide post-operative care to surgical patients

• Implement and manage Patient-Controlled Analgesia systems

• Assist in Total Parenteral Nutrition administration

• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary healthcare team

• Educate patients on health topics and recovery practices
Requirements:

• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Current Basic Life Support certification

• Experience in both surgical and medical care settings

• IV therapy and blood glucose procedure certification

• Bilingual proficiency in English and French
