Shape patient care at North Bay Regional Health Centre as a Registered Nurse. This role focuses on delivering exceptional care in the Inpatient Medicine unit, emphasizing palliative care and strong clinical expertise.
We're looking for a Registered Nurse who thrives in an active medical surgical setting, particularly in palliative care. This position requires relevant certifications and experience managing various patient care aspects, including central line management and feeding care. Strong communication skills are essential for team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage comprehensive care for patients in inpatient settings
• Administer palliative care and related health services
• Support family education and health teaching initiatives
• Work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in quality improvement efforts and safety protocols
Requirements:
• Active Certificate of Registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Experience in palliative care and medical surgical settings
• Current BLS for HCP certification
• Ability to demonstrate strong critical thinking skills
• Bilingual in English and French is an asset
