Join the Inpatient Surgery team at North Bay Regional Health Centre as a Registered Nurse, focusing on post-operative care and patient management. This position emphasizes your expertise in Medical/Surgical nursing, and demands recent certifications.
The North Bay Regional Health Centre is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse who will provide exceptional care to post-operative and medical patients. You need a minimum of 2-3 years in Medical/Surgical areas and must hold a current College of Nurses of Ontario registration. Responsibilities include a wide range of patient care procedures, ensuring quality and safety in all interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver post-operative and medical patient care
• Manage central venous lines and wound care
• Administer pain management and IV therapy
• Perform telemetry and chest tube management
• Educate patients and families about care processes
Requirements:
• Current Ontario Certificate of Registration
• Minimum 2-3 years Medical/Surgical experience
• BLS for Health Care Providers Certification
• IV Therapy Certification required
• Leadership and effective communication skills
