Registered Nurse - Critical Care Unit

Join North Bay Regional Health Centre as a Registered Nurse in the Critical Care Unit, where you’ll deliver specialized care to patients in life-threatening conditions. This role is integral to ensuring high patient safety and monitoring standards.

As part of our experienced team, you will be responsible for managing both pediatric and geriatric patients. You will utilize state-of-the-art equipment and coordinate care with a diverse team of healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide intensive care for critically ill patients

• Manage central lines and monitor vital parameters

• Collaborate closely with professionals across various specialties

• Deliver health teaching to patients and their families

• Conduct assessments and critical interventions as required

Requirements:

• Current Certificate of Registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario

• At least 2-3 years of recent Medical/Surgical nursing experience

• 1-2 years of Critical Care nursing experience required

• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications essential

• Advanced proficiency in French language is mandatory
